Blogger template 3 column minima

Is there a way to have blog lists within a major group i. Is there a way to have a bulleted list of links under a link i. Is there a way to have 2 links on 1 line i. How do you add things like the 'Birding Top Ranking' image with link?. I can't see how to add an image with a link associated with it i.

I like the idea of Blogger Beta especially 3 column format, labels etc. Thanks again for the solutions you've provided for the blogging community. You could add any HTML code there. To Ramani or anyone else who successfully changed his template to Ramani's 3 column template.

I downloaded the template by right-clicking on the link and saved to my computer saving as XML file. Anyone can offer any help or suggestion? Ioisa, I think you did a left-click. As I mentioned in the post, right-click and save the file before you upload. How do I get rid of these? Thank you in advance.

So I tried out to find a solution. Took me a few hours am not a coder , and finally I believe I managed a solution not THE solution though, cose presenting some trade-offs. If you want to change these measurements, the images will also need to change. Re the other ones, the only thing you might lose is the rounded corner a trade-off. This is still a test - am not a professional coder, so am waiting a bit b4 putting it on my main blog I'll have to add up too I just recently switched to beta, and this is how i had my blog before i did the switch.

Thanks or the hack, it was actually easier than i thought. The first time i saw beta, i went crazy as i had some xml in school , i didn't know all of this could be done with it. Sorry to bother you but I need help. I'm using one of your 3 column templates in Blogger beta and it's great. The only problem is every time I post to my blog these "edit me" type icons pop up under each of my page elements in my sidebars. I got rid of them once, but they won't go away now.

I'd appreciate any input. Sabrina, these edit icons are a feature of Beta and show up when you are logged into Beta. It's actually a useful feature. Don't you think so? OK, I get it now.

Ramani, this is vinay sorry i was logged in with this ID. It happened when i was trying to update your template. Its gives that error. I have seen it happening to me multiple times earlier.

I guess it happens when you are trying to install too many widgets. It's a bug? Please help. I want this template desperately. Vinay, yeah, it shows that error if you try to remove a lot of widgets at one. I didn't know that it does this for adding too. But what widgets are you trying to add? Thanks everybody for all the great response to my 3 column version of the Minima template. I understand some of you are having trouble downloading while others are having trouble installing. I wish I had more time to address all your questions on a regular basis and help each of you solve the problems you are encountering.

My excuse is pretty good - I have two young children, a full-time job and a freelance business - so I apologize for not responding to so many of you and not even moderating your comments on a regular basis.

Without making promises, I will try to set up a basic community website where you can all help each other. I initially posted my modified 3 column minima template because I made it for my own use and thought other people might enjoy it too.

I also have a 3 column minima template for Wordpress that I have been meaning to post when I have time. You can see it in action on my Gardening Photo Blog. One of you commented on how the left column can affect search engine ranking compared to the classic minima where the blog posts are on the left. This is true - that it has an impact, but your blog posts will still be indexed.

I have been experimenting and you can see this experiment in action on the Gardening Blog as both sidebars are on the right. I haven't noticed a huge difference as I have transitioned several blogs from 2 column with right sidebar to 3 columns with sidebar on each side without signifigant impact. However I do recommend keeping the left sidebar short and placing less relevant keyword widgets on the right.

With respect to colour choices, you can modify the colour scheme using Blogger's built in colour editing capabilities.
