The reel is the long cast model with 6lb test on the reel. You will probably want to replace the line. The bail has to be reset by hand after casting. But that is common and I have always done that myself.

Designed for 4, 6, or 8 lb test line. I have two of these up for sale. The only difference between them is the color of line on the spool. You might get either spool. Both show wear or boat rash.
