Xbox update problems

There was another option that allowed me to keep installed games saves being on the cloud , and all that came out of restarting to factory settings was needing to put back in my microsoft account details. Now back up and running. Did anyone find a fix for this? Hi guys has anyone got a solution yet? I even returned my xbox got a new one and got the issue again. Its been weeks. Microsoft are blaming the ISP but i have tried on several different peoples networks and still the issue.
